FCC (Federal Communications Commission)
An independent U.S. government agency overseen by Congress, the Federal Communications Commission regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories.
FCC PSAP registry (Federal Communications Commission Public Safety Answering Point) registry: A listing of PSAPs with an FCC-assigned identification number, PSAP Name, State, County, City, and provides information on any type of record change and the reason for updating the record. The Commission updates the Registry periodically as it receives additional information.
